Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Edisto Cougars (Cordova, SC) and the visiting Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC), saw Edisto's basketball squad overcome Barnwell by a tally of 48-38.

With the victory, Edisto improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lake Marion (Santee, SC) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Lake Marion lost 66-48 in their recent league challenge against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)

Next up, the Warhorses play the Ridgeland/Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Barnwell will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record.
