Farragut Admirals (Knoxville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN), 52-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Farragut upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Admirals host Maryville (Maryville, TN) to clash with the Red Rebels in a 4A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Red Rebels go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Maryville won 68-37 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Maryville, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN) in a 4A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Bearden will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Governors go into the bout with a 22-4 record after their 63-57 league win over Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN).
