Ohio High School Basketball - Northland nips Beechcroft

Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Beechcroft Cougars (Columbus, OH), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northland upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lincoln (Gahanna, OH) to play the Golden Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Golden Lions come into the bout with a record of 14-3. Lincoln won 70-64 in their recent league bout against New Albany (New Albany, OH)

Next up, the Cougars play the Ross County Christian Academy Eagles (Chillicothe, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Beechcroft will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Oakstone Academy (Westerville, OH).
