Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL), 64-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chiefland upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Indians host Trenton (Trenton, FL) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-9. Trenton won 54-25 in their recent league bout against Dixie County (Cross City, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Bell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 54-25 league loss to Trenton (Trenton, FL).
