The Bellbrook Golden Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Monroe Hornets to 54 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponitz Career Tech for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.

The Hornets (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Bishop Fenwick ran past Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH), 48-44, in a non-league contest.
