Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy ripped by Benet Academy

The Benet Academy Redwings basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners to 37 in the Redwings league triumph on Friday.

The Redwings now sport a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Tuesday, January 31. Benet Academy will battle a Dons team coming off a 54-38 non-league loss to Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Dons record now stands at 12-12.

The Roadrunners (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack enter the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Saint Ignatius College Prep was routed by Brother Rice (Chicago, IL), 62-61, in a league contest.
