Grant Generals (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR), 68-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Generals travel to Roosevelt (Portland, OR) to play the Roughriders in a 6A Portland bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Roosevelt lost 52-50 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Techmen play the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Benson Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 71-53 league win over Jefferson (Portland, OR).
