Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) and the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY), saw Floyd Central's basketball squad overcome Betsy Layne by a tally of 79-68.

With the victory, Floyd Central improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to confront the Blackcats in a District 58 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Blackcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Betsy Layne will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record.
