Texas High School Basketball - Evadale overwhelmed by Big Sandy

The Evadale Rebels basketball team (Evadale, TX), was overwhelmed 70-46 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX)

The Wildcats now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deweyville for a 2A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Big Sandy will confront a Pirates team coming off a 57-28 league win over Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 13-11.

The Rebels (14-17) will now prepare for their battle against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers come into the 2A Region IV District 25 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, West Hardin was overwhelmed by Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX), 57-52, in a league battle.
