North Carolina High School Basketball - Millennium overwhelmed by Bishop McGuinness

The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Millennium Lions to 30 in the Villains league victory on Friday.

The Villains now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leadership Academy for a 1A Conference 32 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Falcons team coming off a 55-44 league win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 13-5.

The Lions (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets come into the 1A Conference 32 contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Carver was routed by Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC), 51-40, in a league contest.
