The Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) basketball felled the host Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), 72-63 in Friday's league test.

The Leopards (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Lee (Montgomery, AL). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Lee was beaten by Chilton County (Clanton, AL), 66-60, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 11-17 record. They play next when they host Davidson for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31.
