    Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 57-50 in a league bout.

    With the win, Boys Latin upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Lakers travel to Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA) to play the Blue Storm in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Blue Storm go into the bout with a record of 9-9.

    Next up, the Eagles play the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) in a MIAA A - Black bout, on Wednesday, February 1. McDonogh will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record.
