Broadview/Lavina Pirates (Lavina, MT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Roberts Rockets (Roberts, MT), 80-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Broadview/Lavina upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Northern Cheyenne Tribal (Busby, MT) to play the Eagles in a C District 5 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Rockets play the Absarokee Huskies (Absarokee, MT) in a C District 6 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Roberts will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Shields Valley (Clyde Park, MT).
