The Brother Martin Crusaders basketball team (New Orleans, LA), dropped 53-41 in Friday's league battle with the host St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA)
The Purple Knights now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunham for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. St. Augustine will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-8.
The Crusaders (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots come into the 5A District 9 battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, John Curtis Christian dropped by Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA), 65-55, in a league battle.
