The Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI) basketball felled the host Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI), 62-50 in Friday's league test.

The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Huskies go into the Northwest test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Benzie Central was beaten by Glen Lake (Maple City, MI), 70-34, in a league test.

The Stags now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Frankfort for a Northwest test on Wednesday, February 1. Kingsley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 37-33 league loss to Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
