Louisiana High School Basketball - Bunkie tops Jena

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bunkie Panthers (Bunkie, LA) and the host Jena Giants (Jena, LA), saw Bunkie's basketball squad knock off Jena by a count of 55-35.

With the victory, Bunkie upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Buckeye (Buckeye, LA) to play the Panthers in a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Buckeye lost 64-46 in their recent league challenge against Bolton (Alexandria, LA)

Next up, the Giants play the Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Jena will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 59-47 league win over Marksville (Marksville, LA).
