Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting O'Neal Falcons (Southern Pines, NC), 61-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Burlington Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Royals travel to Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a NCISAA Tri-TAC bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Salem Baptist Christian lost 74-69 in their recent non-league bout against Guilford Home Educators (Guilford, NC)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) in a NCISAA Tri-TAC bout, on Tuesday, January 31. O'Neal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Lion go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 59-52 league loss to Carolina Friends (Durham, NC).
