Georgia High School Basketball - Calhoun County edges Randolph-Clay

January 27, 2023: Cuthbert, GA 39840

The Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) basketball nipped the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), 69-62 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Terrell County (Dawson, GA). The Greenwave go into the A D2 Region 1A test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Terrell County got by Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA), 64-57, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Quitman County for a A D2 Region 1A test on Tuesday, January 31. Randolph-Clay will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-13.
