California High School Basketball - Royal knocked off by Camarillo

January 27, 2023: Camarillo, CA 93012

The Camarillo Scorpions basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Royal Highlanders to 38 in the Scorpions league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Park for a Coastal Canyon contest on Tuesday, January 31. Camarillo will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-45 league win over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-9.

The Highlanders (8-19) will now prepare for their contest against Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA). The Pioneers enter the Coastal Canyon contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Simi Valley ran past Agoura (Agoura, CA), 72-62, in a non-league contest.
