The Niles Notre Dame Dons basketball team (Niles, IL), was nudged 23-19 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL)
The Corsairs now possess a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marist for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Tuesday, January 31. The Dons (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits come into the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Evanston edged Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL), 64-58, in a league battle.
