Carver Montgomery Wolverines (Montgomery, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL), 87-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carver Montgomery upgrades its record to 12-13 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Charles Henderson (Troy, AL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 18-5. Charles Henderson won 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)

Next up, the Indians play the Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Wetumpka will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 65-41 non-league win over Dallas County (Plantersville, AL).
