The Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), 60-44 in Friday's league test.
The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Moon Area notched a victory over South Fayette (McDonald, PA), 53-51, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host North Allegheny for a WPIAL 6A 1 test on Tuesday, January 31. Pine-Richland will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-53 league loss to New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-9.
