Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), 83-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Chattooga upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to play the Dragons in a A D1 Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Pepperell won 94-41 in their recent league bout against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Coosa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Pumas go into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 94-41 league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA).
