With the victory, Walton upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA) to play the Mustangs in a AAAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Kennesaw Mountain lost 70-47 in their recent league challenge against Osborne (Marietta, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 68-61 league loss to Wheeler (Marietta, GA).
