Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI), 73-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chesaning upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Indians host New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI) to play the Hornets in a Mid-Michigan bout on Friday, February 3. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-7. New Lothrop won 55-29 in their recent league bout against Byron (Byron, MI)

Next up, the Rams play the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Hill-McCloy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to North Huron (Kinde, MI).
