The Chilton Pirates basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Moody Bearcats to 41 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruceville-Eddy for a 2A Region III District 17 contest on Monday, January 30. Chilton will play a Eagles squad coming off a 61-28 league loss to Moody (Moody, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-18.
Next up, the Bearcats play the Crawford Pirates (Crawford, TX) in a 2A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, February 3. Moody will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record.
