In Friday's league outing, the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA), by a margin of 42-35.
The Cougars (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints go into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton East outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Santa Teresa held off Saratoga (Saratoga, CA), 75-71, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Leland for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton East outing on Wednesday, February 1. Oak Grove will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 45-44 league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 6-14.
