The Columbia Coyotes basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Warden Cougars to 44 in the Coyotes league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dayton/Waitsburg for a 2B Eastern Washington - East contest on Saturday, January 28. Columbia will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 56-40 league win over River View (Kennewick, WA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 9-5.

The Cougars (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA). The Jaguars enter the 2B Eastern Washington - East contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Tri-Cities Prep was routed by Sunnyside Christian (Sunnyside, WA), 60-37, in a non-league contest.
