The Community Charter Titans (Lakeview Terrace, CA) basketball knocked off the host Valley Oaks CES Vanguards (Sun Valley, CA), 37-27 in Friday's league test.

The Titans (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 11-15 record. In their last test, Chavez went down by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 73-37, in a league test.

The Vanguards now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a North Valley test on Thursday, February 2. Valley Oaks CES will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 68-32 league win over Lakeview Charter (Sylmar, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-5.
