The Edison Wildcats basketball team (Richmond, OH), was toppled 63-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Conotton Valley Rockets (Bowerston, OH)
The Rockets now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscarawas Central Catholic for a Inter-Valley battle on Tuesday, January 31. Conotton Valley will confront a Saints team coming off a 59-48 league win over Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH). The Saints record now stands at 6-8.
The Wildcats (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, St. Clairsville was toppled by John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 69-55, in a non-league battle.
