In Friday's non-league match, the host Conway Christian Eagles basketball team scored a tight 68-63 triumph over the King's Academy Lions.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils (John's Island, SC) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 30. Conway Christian will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Sundevils enter the match with a 17-5 record after their 54-53 league loss to Faith Christian (Summerville, SC).
With the defeat, King's Academy moves to 4-11 on the year. The Lions travel to Marlboro Academy (Bennettsville, SC) to meet the Dragons in a SCISA AA Region III match on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 7-8. Marlboro Academy lost 75-36 in their recent league match against Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC)
