North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Christian over Covenant Classical

January 27, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Norman Christian Storm (Davidson, NC) and the host Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC), saw Lake Norman Christian's basketball squad overcome Covenant Classical by a tally of 65-54.

With the victory, Lake Norman Christian improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Kings in a NCISAA Southern Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Kings come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Victory Christian Center lost 56-52 in their recent league challenge against United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Covenant Classical will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
