The Lake Placid Bombers basketball team (Lake Placid, NY), was nudged 55-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY)

The Panthers now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boquet Valley for a Section 7 Mountain Valley battle on Tuesday, January 31. Crown Point will battle a Griffins team coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Bolton Central (Bolton Landing, NY). The Griffins record now stands at 9-6.

The Bombers (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY). The Knights come into the Section 7 Mountain Valley battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Seton Catholic Central was nudged by Keene Central (Keene Valley, NY), 52-34, in a league battle.
