California High School Basketball - Cupertino thwarted by Los Altos

The Cupertino Pioneers basketball team (Cupertino, CA), was toppled 44-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA)

The Eagles now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gunn for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle on Wednesday, February 1. Los Altos will confront a Titans team coming off a 51-47 league loss to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans record now stands at 11-7.

The Pioneers (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Falcons come into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Saratoga was toppled by Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA), 75-71, in a non-league battle.
