Utah High School Basketball - Delta can't hold off North Sanpete

January 27, 2023: Delta, UT 84624

The North Sanpete Hawks basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Delta Rabbits to 41 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ben Lomond for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. North Sanpete will battle a Scots team coming off a 46-36 league loss to Grantsville (Grantsville, UT). The Scots record now stands at 2-15.

The Rabbits (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps enter the 3A Region 14 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Juab nudged Union (Roosevelt, UT), 68-47, in a league contest.
