Texas High School Basketball - DeSoto nipped by Waxahachie

The Waxahachie Indians tipped the visiting DeSoto Eagles basketball team by a final score of 47-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 game, on Tuesday, January 31. Waxahachie will attempt to move on its 9-18 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the game with a 23-1 record after their 98-70 league win over Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).

With the defeat, DeSoto moves to 21-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX) to face the Broncos in a 6A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, January 31.
