South Carolina High School Basketball - Ware Shoals knocked off by Dixie

The Dixie Hornets basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Ware Shoals Hornets to 60 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind for a A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Dixie will battle a Hornets team coming off a 45-15 non-league loss to Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 0-9.

The Hornets (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Whitmire (Whitmire, SC). The Wolverines enter the A Region 2 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Whitmire was defeated by Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC), 93-30, in a league contest.
