The New Manchester Jaguar basketball team (Douglasville, GA), was nudged 77-72 in Friday's league battle with the host Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paulding County for a AAAAAA Region 5 battle on Saturday, January 28. Douglas County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-9.

The Jaguar (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill was nudged by Jackson (Atlanta, GA), 83-73, in a league battle.
