The Sutton Sammies basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Douglas Tigers to 34 in the Sammies league triumph on Friday.
The Sammies now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blackstone-Millville for a Dual Valley game on Monday, January 30. Sutton will face a Chargers team coming off a 51-41 league loss to Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-14.
With the defeat, Douglas moves to 6-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bartlett (Webster, MA) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, January 30. The Indians enter the game with a record of 4-6.
