The Swansea Tigers basketball team (Swansea, SC), was routed 68-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC)
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookland-Cayce for a AAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Dreher will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 42-35 league loss to Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-12.
The Tigers (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Bruins come into the AAA Region 5 battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Orangeburg-Wilkinson trounced Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 89-34, in a league battle.
