Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA), 62-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Durham upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Willows (Willows, CA) to play the Honkers in a Sacramento Valley bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Honkers come into the bout with a record of 12-13. Willows won 61-50 in their recent league bout against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Colusa RedHawks (Colusa, CA) in a Sacramento Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 31. East Nicolaus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The RedHawks come into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 81-42 league win over Paradise (Paradise, CA).
