East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots (Perth Amboy, NJ), 65-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Brunswick upgrades its record to 10-19 on the season. The Bears travel to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ) to play the Hawks in a Greater Middlesex - Red bout on Saturday, January 28. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-10. J.P. Stevens lost 50-43 in their recent league bout against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ)

Next up, the Patriots play the Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Gold challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Perth Amboy Vo-Tech will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Destroyers come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 53-47 league loss to Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ).
