In Friday's league outing, the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mountain View Generals (Quicksburg, VA), by a margin of 73-42.

The Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Alleghany was trounced by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 60-52, in a league outing.

The Generals now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Strasburg for a Bull Run outing on Tuesday, January 31. Mountain View will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 53-51 league win over Madison County (Madison, VA). The Rams record now stands at 11-6.
