El Dorado Wolverines (Chandler, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Valley Panthers (Mesa, AZ), 1-0 in a league bout.

With the win, El Dorado upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Canyon State Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Rams in a Canyon Division 2 - Sahuaro bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Canyon State Academy won 63-27 in their recent league bout against El Dorado (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the BASIS - Mesa (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. East Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
