Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA), 59-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences upgrades its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Vipers host Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA) to play the Pumas in a Valley bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Pumas come into the bout with a record of 21-3. Northridge Academy won 69-8 in their recent league bout against Fulton (Van Nuys, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) in a Valley bout, on Wednesday, February 1. East Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 65-54 league win over Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
