Ecorse Raiders (Ecorse, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI), 87-70 in a league bout.

With the win, Ecorse upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI) to clash with the Cosmos in a Michigan Metro bout on Friday, February 3. The Cosmos go into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. University Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 113-46 league win over Atherton (Burton, MI).
