With the victory, El Paso upgrades its record to 9-17 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Burges (El Paso, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-15. Burges lost 64-44 in their recent league bout against Chapin (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Silver Foxes play the Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-24 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 15-12 record after their 65-51 league win over Canutillo (Canutillo, TX).
