Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL) and the host Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL), saw Elgin Academy's basketball squad wallop Morgan Park Academy by a tally of 82-39.

With the victory, Elgin Academy improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL) to confront the Green Giants in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Green Giants come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Alden-Hebron won 68-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Yeshiva (Skokie, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Morgan Park Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record.
