Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL), 68-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westmont upgrades its record to 9-15 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 10-10. Walther Christian Academy won 70-43 in their recent non-league bout against Yeshiva (Skokie, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers (Deerfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Elmwood Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 63-51 league win over Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL).
