Iowa High School Basketball - English Valleys ripped by Iowa Valley

The Iowa Valley Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting English Valleys Bears to 24 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, January 31. Iowa Valley will battle a Plainsmen team coming off a 52-44 league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Plainsmen record now stands at 11-8.
The Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Keota (Keota, IA). The Eagles enter the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Keota triumphed over Tri-County (Thornburg, IA), 66-31, in a league contest.
